Morocco Advances Public Services With E-Police Digital Portal
Morocco's General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) has unveiled the E-Police digital services platform, a groundbreaking step in digitizing public administrative services. The portal aims to streamline police administrative processes, enhancing efficiency and accessibility for citizens nationwide.
Starting December 20, the E-Police portal will offer services like requesting criminal record certificates and booking appointments for national identity cards. Users can access these services after verifying their identity through the "Tiers de Confiance" platform and the "Digital Identity" system, both developed by DGSN.
The portal consolidates all police services into a single, user-friendly interface, incorporating advanced digital solutions. Key features include:
Remote identity verification. Enhanced data security. Faster response times for service requests.
The criminal record certificate will be the first service integrated into the platform. Applicants will receive electronic notifications once their documents are ready, allowing them to collect them from designated centers faster than before. Additional features include registering for police recruitment exams and other administrative tasks.
DGSN emphasized that this launch marks the initial phase of a broader initiative to digitize police services. Future updates will expand the range of available online services, further aligning with Morocco’s national digital transformation strategy.
The DGSN has already introduced complementary platforms like “E-Blagh,” which enables citizens to report cybercrimes. This tool addresses issues such as online fraud, sextortion, child exploitation, terrorism, and hate speech, providing round-the-clock assistance.
This digital transformation aligns with Morocco’s broader vision to modernize public services, reduce administrative delays, and improve citizen satisfaction.
