Hammouchi Sends off National Security Pilgrims to Hajj 2025
On Tuesday, Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, personally received members of the national security corps who are heading to Saudi Arabia to perform the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.
This year, a total of 286 members from the National Security and Territorial Surveillance services are eligible for Hajj. Among them, 199 individuals will receive full financial support, while 87 others will receive partial assistance based on applications submitted to the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works for National Security Personnel.
The support program has significantly broadened its reach, extending coverage to include more widows and retirees. This year, 31 widows will benefit from full support, and 10 from partial assistance. Additionally, 41 retired personnel will be fully covered, and 31 will receive partial aid.
To mark the occasion, Hammouchi granted an exceptional financial contribution to all the selected participants, ensuring they can undertake the pilgrimage and fulfill the religious rituals under optimal conditions. In his farewell message, he underlined the significance of spiritual security and reaffirmed that facilitating the Hajj pilgrimage is one of the key components of social support provided by the National Security and Territorial Surveillance services.
Hammouchi emphasized his personal and institutional dedication to accompanying these pilgrims, expressing prayers for their health, safety, and success throughout their spiritual journey.
He also instructed the Mohammed VI Foundation to provide all necessary logistical and moral support to the pilgrims. In return, he encouraged them to pray for the peace and prosperity of Morocco and for the continued well-being of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
