Egyptian comedic genius Soliman Eid passes away at 64
Egyptian actor Soliman Eid has tragically passed away at the age of 64 following a sudden health crisis. He died shortly after being transferred to a hospital, as confirmed by various reports.
Born on October 17, 1961, Eid began his acting career in the late 1980s and quickly became a beloved figure in Egyptian cinema. He is best known for his roles in iconic films such as “Terrorism and Kebab,” which featured renowned actors Yusra and Adel Imam.
The news of his passing has prompted an outpouring of grief from colleagues in the entertainment industry. Actor Karim Abdel Aziz expressed his sorrow, stating, “We lost a respected artist and human.”
Actress Bushra remembered Eid as the “kindest colleague,” sharing her disbelief at the news. “We worked together several times, but I never imagined that our last project would be the last time we’d meet,” she reflected. The two were notably featured together in the series “Sidi Nass,” which aired during Ramadan.
Mohamed Henedy also offered condolences, honoring the legacy left by Eid. Egyptian star Hussein Fahmy emphasized the profound sorrow felt across the artistic community, mourning the loss of a noble artist and dear friend. “He left this world, leaving behind a good legacy and a beautiful memory among his family, friends, and loved ones,” Fahmy remarked.
