He received a distinguished honorary award recognizing his exceptional career and immense contributions to the evolution of national media. This accolade not only celebrates his professional journey but also pays homage to a legacy that has profoundly influenced generations of Moroccans.

The event was particularly poignant as it occurred just days after the passing of his wife, his lifelong partner. Despite this personal loss, Mustapha Alaoui attended the ceremony, surrounded by his peers, to accept this honor. His presence underscored both his resilience and his unwavering dedication to his craft, which has shaped the contemporary history of Morocco.

Mustapha Alaoui is more than just a journalist; he is a symbol of integrity and professionalism. At the ceremony, he shared an emotional yet inspiring message: “Five days ago, I faced a difficult trial with the loss of my wife, my life partner. Despite this pain, I found inner balance and understood that life must go on.” His presence highlighted the strength and dedication of a man deeply committed to his profession.

The award he received, established after a Royal Message from King Mohammed VI during National Information Day, is a tribute to his tireless efforts in the service of truth and communication. “This prize is the culmination of years of humble but consistent work. I am deeply honored and moved to receive this recognition, surrounded by my colleagues and friends,” he said.
