Napoli's Renewed Interest in Hakim Ziyech Amidst Challenging Situation at Galatasaray
The Italian club Napoli has reaffirmed its interest in Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, who is currently facing difficulties at Galatasaray in Turkey. Reports suggest that Napoli’s coach, Antonio Conte, is keen to strengthen his squad by signing Ziyech during the upcoming winter transfer window.
A year ago, Napoli made an attempt to secure Ziyech's services, but the negotiations fell through. This time, the club is hopeful to reach an agreement, offering the player a fresh opportunity to shine on European fields.
Ziyech's situation at Galatasaray has led to increased interest from multiple clubs. Besides Napoli, teams such as Stade Rennais in France, Wolverhampton, Ipswich Town, and West Ham United in England, as well as the Saudi Arabian club Al-Fateh, have expressed their desire to acquire the attacking midfielder.
Currently, Ziyech has found himself relegated to the bench by the Turkish manager, drastically reducing his playing time and jeopardizing his position in the Moroccan national team. This situation is particularly pressing with the Africa Cup of Nations, set to take place in Morocco in 2025, approaching rapidly.
For Ziyech, joining Napoli or another club could provide not only a fresh start but also a chance to regain his form and re-establish himself in the eyes of the Moroccan national coach, Walid Regragui.
As the winter transfer window approaches, Ziyech’s future has garnered significant attention. A move to Napoli could mark a turning point in his career, reigniting his momentum ahead of key international tournaments.
