CIH Bank, Mastercard, and FRMJE Collaborate to Boost Gaming Ecosystem in Morocco
CIH Bank, Mastercard, and the Royal Moroccan Federation of Electronic Games (FRMJE) have announced a strategic collaboration to establish a Gaming ecosystem in Morocco.
The aim of this collaboration is to support the gaming community in Morocco by developing a comprehensive strategy to launch various services and products dedicated to this community, it is reported.
In this context, CIH Bank, Mastercard, and FRMJE are launching the largest Valorant tournament ever organized in Morocco, aiming to provide the Moroccan gaming community with a unique experience. The winners of the tournament will have the opportunity to participate in the Valorant Champions final to be held in Seoul.
The three partners, aware of the potential of the Moroccan gaming market and the importance of meeting the needs of gamers, have decided to combine their efforts and expertise to develop a complete and attractive gaming ecosystem. In fact, in recent years, Morocco has experienced a real boom in the gaming industry, with a rapid growth in the number of local studios and a strong demand for mobile games. According to Statista data, the gaming market in Morocco is expected to reach a revenue of $227.3 million in 2024, with a forecast of 8.4 million players by 2027, representing over 21% of the population.
