In a significant transfer development, Moroccan international midfielder Sofyan Amrabat has joined Turkish side Fenerbahçe on a loan deal that includes an obligation to buy. The move, confirmed by both Fiorentina and Fenerbahçe on Saturday, marks a new chapter in the 28-year-old's career.

ACF Fiorentina issued a statement announcing the temporary transfer of Amrabat to Fenerbahçe SK, with a mandatory purchase clause at the end of the loan period. Amrabat, who has amassed 57 caps for Morocco, spent the previous season on loan at Manchester United, where he featured in 30 matches. His move to Fenerbahçe reunites him with fellow Moroccan player Youssef En-Nesyri, who joined the Turkish club from Sevilla FC in late July.
