Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has firmly dismissed rumors suggesting that Cristiano Ronaldo could join the club during the next transfer window.
Speculation had emerged about potential talks between PSG and Ronaldo's representatives concerning a transfer. However, a renowned transfer expert has clarified that these claims are unfounded.
Ronaldo, currently playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, recently stirred controversy by asserting that the Saudi league is stronger than Ligue 1. His remarks sparked a reaction in France, fueling rumors of a possible move to the Parisian club.
Comparisons with Lionel Messi, who spent two seasons at PSG after leaving Barcelona in 2021, also intensified the speculation. It was suggested that Ronaldo might mirror Messi’s path by returning to European football after a prolific stint in the Middle East.
However, transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano refuted these claims, emphasizing that no discussions have taken place.
Ronaldo’s future remains uncertain as his record-breaking contract in Riyadh approaches its expiration in early 2025. The 39-year-old forward is reportedly open to exploring new challenges, although Al-Nassr is keen on negotiating extended terms to retain him.
