Explosion near Russian Consulate in Marseille
An explosion occurred near the Russian consulate in Marseille on Monday, February 24, shortly before 8 a.m., according to the Marseille Marine Fire Brigade. The incident took place in the city's 8th district, on Avenue Ambroise-Paré, where several consulates, including those of Egypt, Tunisia, Armenia, and São Tomé and Príncipe, are located. Around thirty firefighters were deployed to the scene to manage the situation. Authorities have yet to provide further details on the cause and consequences of the explosion.
