Morocco to return to GMT+1 after Ramadan
After a month-long shift for Ramadan, Morocco will return to its standard time of GMT+1. During Ramadan, the country temporarily adjusted its clocks by one hour, in accordance with the legal provisions outlined in Decree 2.18.855 from October 26, 2018.
With the conclusion of Ramadan, marked by the celebration of Eid al-Fitr on March 31, Morocco will shift the clocks forward by one hour, returning to GMT+1. This adjustment will take place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 2:00 AM, as announced by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform.
