Royal Air Maroc cancels flights amid France air traffic controllers' strike
Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has announced the cancellation of several flights to and from France scheduled for Thursday, July 3, 2025, due to an ongoing strike by French air traffic controllers.
Flight disruptions and passenger support
The Moroccan national airline explained that the strike has disrupted air travel plans, forcing the cancellation of some flights connecting Morocco and France. RAM has pledged to assist affected passengers by rebooking them on alternative flights and will notify them via email or text message if their contact information is up to date in the booking system.
To ensure smooth communication, the airline is urging passengers to verify their flight status and update contact details through the “Manage My Booking” section on RAM’s official website.
Options for affected travelers
Passengers impacted by the cancellations have two options:
Free rescheduling: Travelers can rebook their flights at no additional cost within 15 days of the original departure date, provided they choose the same travel class and departure/destination points while maintaining the original trip duration.
Full refund: Alternatively, passengers can request a full refund through the payment method used during booking.
Important advice for passengers
RAM advises passengers with canceled flights not to visit the airport unless they have received a rebooking confirmation. Instead, they are encouraged to contact their original point of sale or RAM’s call center to confirm their new reservation or select one of the available options.
The airline remains committed to minimizing inconvenience and ensuring passengers are informed about their travel arrangements.
