King Mohammed VI congratulates new AfDB president Sidi Ould Tah
King Mohammed VI extended his congratulations to Sidi Ould Tah on his election as President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group.
In his congratulatory message, the King warmly praised Sidi Ould Tah and wished him success in his important role.
The King highlighted that his election reflects the confidence of the AfDB Board of Governors in Sidi Ould Tah’s extensive experience and professionalism, demonstrated through various economic and financial leadership positions in Mauritania and at the helm of multilateral banking institutions.
Moreover, King Mohammed VI expressed his belief that Sidi Ould Tah’s expertise will significantly advance the bank’s initiatives, strengthening its leading role in supporting sustainable and inclusive development across Africa.
The Sovereign assured that Morocco will fully support the new AfDB President in achieving his noble goals and strategic initiatives aimed at assisting regional and international member states in financing infrastructure projects and promoting economic integration and development.
