Iberia’s regional airline boosts flights connecting Málaga, Tangier, and Casablanca

Air Nostrum, the regional franchise of Iberia, has expanded its summer network with new routes linking Spain and Morocco.

The airline now offers regular flights between Málaga and two major Moroccan cities, Tangier and Casablanca, while also increasing connectivity to Nice, France.

The Málaga-Tangier route operates twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays until June 28, with service resuming from September 2 to 30. Between July 1 and 18, flights will increase to three per week, adding Wednesdays. During the peak summer period from July 19 to August 31, Air Nostrum will operate five weekly flights, including Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The Málaga-Casablanca route will run exclusively during the peak summer season, from July 19 to August 30. Air Nostrum will offer three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays under a codeshare agreement with Royal Air Maroc, providing 1,900 seats.

Additionally, Air Nostrum has enhanced summer services connecting Nice with Spanish destinations. The Málaga-Nice route has increased capacity by 10% compared to last summer, offering 10,400 seats with three weekly flights until July 13.

From July 14 to August 31, flights will operate daily with double service on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Total seat capacity for all Nice connections this summer will reach 31,800, marking a 21% increase over 2024.

Other Spanish destinations linked to Nice include Ibiza and Mallorca. The Ibiza-Nice route will offer 13,500 seats, the highest capacity among these routes. The Mallorca-Nice connection will provide 7,900 seats, a 31% increase from last year.
