Three Australians arrested in fatal Bali shooting

Indonesian police have taken into custody three Australian nationals in connection with a deadly shooting at a villa on the island of Bali, which claimed the life of one man and seriously injured another. Authorities stated that the arrests were made on Tuesday, with the suspects accused of organizing and carrying out the attack.

The victims, both Australian, were identified as Zivan Radmanovic, 32, who died at the scene, and Sanar Ghanim, 35, who sustained serious injuries. The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Saturday.

According to Bali’s police chief, one suspect was apprehended at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta just as he attempted to leave Indonesia. The other two suspects were detained overseas following a request for assistance from Interpol in Southeast Asia. Details regarding the exact locations of their arrests were not disclosed.

Authorities have not released the full names of the suspects, referring to them only by the initials C, D, and T. During the investigation, police confiscated several items believed to have been used in the crime, including a 9mm firearm, a motorcycle, and two vehicles used during the suspects’ escape.

The motive for the attack remains unclear, and the investigation is ongoing. Police suggested that another individual may have orchestrated the crime and could be identified later.
