UAE Media highlights Morocco's initiatives to build social state
Morocco, under the visionary leadership of King Mohammed VI, has embarked on a series of groundbreaking initiatives to establish a social state. These initiatives, approved by the Moroccan government in accordance with Royal directives, prioritize the well-being and social protection of its citizens. With a focus on reducing economic and social risks, Morocco aims to provide social support to large segments of society and ensure access to decent housing for all.
Direct Aid Program:
One of the key initiatives implemented by the Moroccan government is the Direct Aid Program, designed to provide financial support to families meeting the legal conditions. This program takes the form of subsidies, aimed at bolstering the purchasing power of citizens and safeguarding them against old-age-related risks. By offering this assistance, Morocco aims to alleviate economic burdens and protect vulnerable groups within society.
Direct Housing Aid Program:
Recognizing the importance of decent housing, particularly for social groups with medium and limited incomes, the Moroccan government has established the Direct Housing Aid Program. This program enables citizens planning to acquire primary housing to benefit from financial assistance ranging from 70,000 to 100,000 dirhams. By providing this support, Morocco aims to guarantee the right to decent housing, combat exclusion and poverty, and improve the purchasing power of citizens, especially those from low- and middle-income social groups.
Morocco's initiatives under King Mohammed VI to build a social state demonstrate a strong commitment to the well-being and social protection of its citizens. Through the Direct Aid Program and the Direct Housing Aid Program, the government aims to reduce economic and social risks, improve living conditions, and ensure access to decent housing for all. These initiatives mark significant steps towards building a more inclusive and equitable society in Morocco.
