Casablanca Abattoir Expands Offal Facilities to Boost Food Safety and Quality
Casablanca Prestations, a local development company, has announced improvements to quality systems at Casablanca Abattoir, a pioneer in red meat slaughter in Morocco. An ambitious program to expand and modernize the offal room has been launched, symbolizing the organization's ongoing commitment to food quality and safety.
The upgraded offal room can now sell up to 25,000 pieces of sheep and cattle offal per day, including red organs, heads, edible organs, brains, and legs. Currently operating at 50% capacity, it aims to provide an expanded trading platform for users with potential for 500 customers daily.
This initiative aligns with Casablanca Prestations' constant dedication to quality, food safety and customer satisfaction. It demonstrates the will to offer high quality facilities and optimized spaces that promote healthy and sustainable practices throughout the production process.
Beyond ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 certifications, Halal certification, and commitment to sustainability in daily operations, the offal room expansion reflects an ethical and responsible approach across the entire supply chain. The changes will further strengthen systems ensuring the community has access to safe, traceable meat products from Casablanca Abattoir.
