Achraf Hakimi delivered a standout performance as Morocco secured a convincing 4–2 victory over Haiti, contributing both a goal and an assist in what is being described as one of his finest displays in a national team shirt during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Paris Saint-Germain defender scored his first-ever World Cup goal before setting up a teammate, underlining his growing influence in Morocco’s attacking system. His performance was also statistically remarkable, with data from Opta showing that Hakimi has now created 22 goal-scoring opportunities in World Cup history—more than any other Moroccan player.
