Activists steal Macron wax figure from Grévin Museum
On the morning of June 2, 2025, the wax statue of French President Emmanuel Macron was stolen from the Grévin Museum in Paris. According to police sources cited by AFP, the theft was carried out by individuals claiming to be Greenpeace activists.
The perpetratorstwo women and a man initially entered the museum, located in Paris's 9th arrondissement, posing as tourists. They later changed their clothes to resemble those of workers or staff, allowing them to maneuver unnoticed. Concealing the wax figure, valued at €40,000, under a blanket, they managed to escape through a service exit.
