Casablanca's entrepreneurship event highlights youth innovation and leadership
Casablanca’s Technopark will come alive this Thursday, May 15, with innovation as it welcomes a new edition of Le Phare de l’Entrepreneuriat, a key event for young project leaders, startups, students, and innovation stakeholders in Morocco.
Organized by ACCEDE Provence Entrepreneurs, a student association from KEDGE Business School, the event is entirely free and aims to foster entrepreneurship among Moroccan youth. This year’s edition will be held at Technopark Casablanca, an iconic hub for technological innovation.
The event offers a dynamic program including conferences, roundtables, practical workshops, a pitch competition, and a hackathon. Participants will have the opportunity to meet experts, investors, and mentors to discuss crucial topics such as access to funding, engaging experienced talent, and overcoming regulatory challenges faced by student entrepreneurs in fields like deeptech and agritech.
Nine startups, selected from more than 130 applicants, will compete in the pitch contest, presenting their projects to a panel of expert judges. Winners will receive tailored mentorship and gain visibility within Morocco’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Since its launch in Morocco in 2016, Le Phare de l’Entrepreneuriat has become a catalyst for innovation and business creation across North Africa. The event is supported by partners including ANIMA Investment Network, which previously presented its Bridge Africa Provence program to support entrepreneurship at past editions.
The event will kick off at 8:30 a.m. local time at Technopark, Casablanca, with free entry upon registration. Don’t miss the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Morocco’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and bring your innovative ideas to life.
