In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), Zelensky wrote: "The Interior Minister and Prosecutor General have reported the initial findings of this terrible incident in Lviv. Andrii Parubiy has been killed. My condolences to his family and loved ones."

Circumstances remain unclear

Details surrounding the shooting and the reasons behind the attack remain unknown.
