Grenoble: 12-year-old boy seriously wounded by gunfire at drug-dealing spot
A 12-year-old boy was seriously injured after being shot in the early hours of Sunday morning, around 3 a.m., in Grenoble, according to police sources cited by Le Figaro. The incident occurred at a known drug-dealing point on Rue du Drac, in the western part of the city.
Residents alerted the police after hearing gunshots and seeing a vehicle speeding away. When officers arrived, they found the young victim in cardio-respiratory arrest, with gunshot wounds to the back and legs. He was taken to hospital in critical condition.
The judicial police have taken over the investigation. Nine 9mm shell casings were recovered at the scene. The area where the attack took place is not covered by video surveillance.
