Hospitals and NGOs in Gaza warned ahead of military offensive
The Israeli army has begun notifying hospitals and international organizations operating in northern Gaza to prepare for an evacuation to the south, ahead of a planned offensive aimed at taking control of Gaza City and surrounding areas, according to a military statement.
“In preparation for the safety of civilians, officers issued initial warning calls two days ago (Tuesday) to medical officials and international organizations in northern Gaza to organize the evacuation of the population toward southern areas,” the statement said.
