Imperium Study: The Most Media-Covered Moroccan Personalities in December
In the course of its recent studies on public figures, key economic and political players holding a prominent position in the Moroccan media scene, the specialized company "Imperium" has revealed new and precise data and statistics on significant faces that have graced the headlines in the past month of December.
Abdellatif Jouahri Takes the Lead:
According to the comprehensive study published by Imperium, highlighting the media's interest in the most important public figures, Abdellatif Jouahri has surpassed all others, capturing media attention through both his statements and the activities and seminars organized by Bank Al-Maghrib. He was the subject of 589 articles during the month of December.
Abdelhamid Addou in Second Position:
In line with the in-depth study conducted by Imperium, Abdelhamid Addou secures the second position after Abdellatif Jouahri as a public figure of media interest. Although fewer in number, Abdelhamid Addou was the subject of 534 articles covering his statements and activities as the President and CEO of Royal Air Maroc. The study also emphasized Royal Air Maroc's continuous recognition as the best airline in Africa during the 20th "GT Tested Reader Survey" conducted by the Global Traveler magazine.
Fayçal Laraïchi Among the Top Five:
Imperium's study, extending beyond public figures to include leaders of public enterprises, revealed that Fayçal Laraïchi, CEO of the National Broadcasting and Television Company, held the third position in terms of media interest. He drew attention with 341 articles, particularly as the CEO of the Marrakech International Film Festival and for signing a partnership agreement to enhance cooperation in ongoing training in the audiovisual sector.
Abdellatif Zaghnoun in Fourth Position in Media Notoriety:
Abdellatif Zaghnoun, Director General of the National Agency for Strategic Management of State Holdings, ranks fourth in terms of media notoriety. In December, he was the subject of 311 articles focusing on his activities related to the management of public institutions, considering the agency's pivotal role in overseeing nearly 53 institutions and state-owned enterprises.
Nezha Hayat also in the Top 5 of Media Interest:
In December, the media highlighted Nezha Hayat, President of the Moroccan Capital Market Authority, who ranks in the top 5 with 217 press articles. Her media presence was strengthened by her meeting with the Prime Minister, Aziz Akhannouch, to present the authority's annual report for the year 2022. The report covered major events in the capital market in 2022, along with the quantitative developments recorded during this period, highlighting the stability of transactions in the market.
