With energy prices climbing and colder months approaching, the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) has unveiled a nationwide campaign encouraging homeowners to invest in energy-efficient home improvements. The initiative, crafted in collaboration with Posterplan and WPP Media, delivers its message through a bold outdoor advertising strategy: “You deserve a more comfortable, energy-efficient home.”

The campaign emphasizes the availability of government grants to support energy-saving upgrades, aiming to make such improvements more accessible to Irish households. Susan Andrews, SEAI’s marketing campaigns manager, highlighted the importance of using out-of-home (OOH) advertising to increase awareness. She noted that substantial financial assistance is available, motivating residents to enhance energy performance for warmer, more cost-effective homes.

Carl Cautley, account director at WPP Media, explained that the project’s partnership with Posterplan focused on creating visually striking ads to simplify grant information and foster a strong connection with the public. He emphasized that the campaign aligns with Ireland’s environmental goals, promoting sustainable living as a national priority.

Launched as temperatures begin to drop, SEAI’s campaign underscores the long-term benefits of energy efficiency, providing a timely reminder of the value of government-backed upgrades for Irish homeowners.
