Kompany praises Aznou's performances at Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich's coach, Vincent Kompany, expressed satisfaction with Adam Aznou's performance, recognizing him as one of the standout players within the renowned Bavarian club, despite the numerous challenges he faces.
During a press conference ahead of the Bundesliga match against Wolfsburg, Kompany praised the young Moroccan international for his contributions.
"Aznou is doing excellent work. He faces strong competition, as it is Bayern Munich after all, but we often discuss the moments when players can establish themselves as key members of the team. He is progressing step by step," he commented.
At 18 years old, Aznou has made one appearance for Bayern’s first team in the Bundesliga this season, in addition to 12 matches with the reserve team.
Aznou, whose contract with Bayern Munich runs until 2027, is reportedly being considered for a potential loan move, an option designed to support his further development.
However, no final decision has been made yet. The club remains committed to this young talent, especially amidst ongoing rumors regarding a possible departure of Canadian defender Alphonso Davies to Real Madrid at the end of his contract, set for next summer.
