Lyon to auction luxury goods seized by French justice
On October 2, the Court of Appeal in Lyon will host a public auction of luxury goods seized by French justice as part of criminal proceedings. The sale, organized by the Agency for the Management and Recovery of Seized and Confiscated Assets (AGRASC), is part of the Nuit du Droit initiative.
Among the 224 lots, estimated prices range from €70 for a Gucci leather pouch to €120,000 for a Porsche 911 or a Merlo telescopic handler. Other highlights include a Ferrari 350 Modena valued at €70,000, several Mercedes AMG vehicles, gold bars, and a wide selection of luxury watches such as Rolex, Cartier, Chopard, Bulgari, and IWC.
The auction will be held under strict security and attendance rules. The Montesquieu Room, used for exhibitions, will be limited to 100 people at a time, while the Aguesseau Room, where the sale takes place, will allow a maximum of 120 participants. Organizers recommend early registration due to high demand.
