Man found dead at home, Partner taken into Custody
A 36-year-old man was found dead in his home in Saint-Denis, Réunion, on the night from Saturday to Sunday, and his partner has been taken into custody, according to police sources. The body, discovered by emergency services, showed signs of strangulation, the same source said.
The woman, whose age was not disclosed, was arrested on-site at 3:30 a.m. (1:30 a.m. Paris time). During her arrest, she made confused statements, authorities added.
Witnesses reported having seen the couple arguing earlier in the evening. The public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation, entrusted to the territorial judicial police service.
