Man killed in Knife attack in Moselle, Suspect arrested
A man was killed in a knife attack on Sunday afternoon in Neufchef, a small town in the Moselle department of northeastern France, according to local authorities. The incident occurred on a public street in this commune of about 2,600 residents, located roughly 15 kilometers west of Thionville.
The suspected attacker was apprehended at the scene shortly after the assault. A magistrate arrived on-site to oversee the initial stages of the investigation, which has been entrusted to the Thionville gendarmerie’s research brigade.
