Meknès approves 43 youth entrepreneurship projects under INDH initiative
Meknès, October 22, 2025 — The Provincial Human Development Committee (CPDH) of Meknès has approved 43 new projects under the “Youth Business Leadership” program, part of Morocco’s National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).
With a total investment of 4.4 million dirhams — including 3.5 million funded by the INDH — these projects aim to promote youth economic integration and self-employment in sectors such as crafts, trade, industry, and sports.
According to local authorities, 144 young men and women will directly benefit from this new wave of initiatives. Governor Abdelghani Sabbar highlighted the strategic importance of supporting entrepreneurship as a key tool in reducing youth unemployment and boosting local productivity.
Since the beginning of 2025, Meknès has validated a total of 144 projects worth 14.2 million dirhams, with nearly 11.7 million dirhams covered by INDH funding.
