Moroccans celebrate UN’s landmark Sahara resolution with nationwide festivities
Morocco witnessed extraordinary scenes of unity and celebration on Friday evening as thousands of citizens took to the streets following the United Nations Security Council’s adoption of Resolution 2797, reaffirming Morocco’s Autonomy Plan as the basis of negotiations for Sahara’s future.
