Morocco denounces missile attack on Qatar, affirms solidarity
Morocco has strongly condemned the recent missile attack that breached the sovereignty and airspace of the State of Qatar, describing it as a blatant violation of international law and regional stability. This act of aggression, Morocco asserted, threatens the safety of civilians and undermines efforts to maintain peace in the Gulf region.
In an official communiqué issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad, Morocco reaffirmed its unwavering solidarity with Qatar in the face of such hostile actions. The Kingdom expressed its full support for all measures taken by Qatari authorities to protect their territory, citizens, and national interests.
The statement also underscored the longstanding ties of brotherhood, mutual respect, and strategic cooperation between Rabat and Doha. Morocco reiterated its readiness to stand by Qatar in defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity against any form of aggression.
By issuing this condemnation, Morocco reaffirmed its principled stance in favor of respecting the sovereignty of states and the rules-based international order. The move also reflects Morocco’s broader commitment to promoting stability, security, and peaceful coexistence across the Arab world and beyond.
