Morocco launches third phase of humanitarian aid to Gaza
The Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency launched the third phase of Morocco’s humanitarian campaign in Gaza on Saturday, delivering urgent food assistance to displaced families in the Al-Bureij refugee camp, located in the eastern part of the enclave.
This phase of the operation was made possible thanks to financial support from the Moroccan Association for the Reconstruction in Palestine. Despite ongoing security risks, local teams successfully reached the camp and directly distributed aid to 500 vulnerable families, sparing them the danger of traveling to distant warehouses or distribution centers.
The food baskets, which included a variety of fresh vegetables sourced from the local market despite soaring prices, were met with heartfelt gratitude by the beneficiaries.
Residents expressed appreciation for Morocco’s consistent solidarity and acknowledged the deep respect they hold for King HM Mohammed VI. Many voiced hope that the Moroccan people’s generosity would continue to stand by the Palestinian cause, especially in these challenging times.
This initiative further strengthens Morocco’s image as a committed humanitarian partner in the region and reflects the nation’s longstanding support for the Palestinian people.
