Movistar Plus+ to broadcast 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco
Madrid, Spain – Spanish digital TV platform Movistar Plus+ announced it will broadcast all matches of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2025), set to take place in Morocco from December 21 to January 18.
The coverage will include the opening match, the final, and all games in between, offering football fans in Spain a complete view of the tournament. Organized across six Moroccan cities, CAN 2025 brings together Africa’s top national teams, providing an opportunity to assess the quality of African football and evaluate teams ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Several players currently active in Spain’s La Liga will participate, including Morocco’s Brahim Díaz (Real Madrid), Sofyan Amrabat, Ez Abde (Real Betis), and Azzedine Ounahi (Girona). Other Liga internationals joining the tournament include Cédric Bakambu (Real Betis, DR Congo), Pape Gueye (Villarreal, Senegal), and Omar Mascarell (Mallorca, Equatorial Guinea).
Movistar Plus+ will also feature special programming, such as “El Día Después” and “Deporte Plus+”, offering match highlights, expert analysis, and reports on what is being described as one of the most exciting international football competitions.
