ONCF Upgrades Signaling Infrastructure Between Casablanca and Kenitra
As part of its comprehensive modernization program aimed at continuously improving its services, the National Office of Railways (ONCF) is undertaking an extensive initiative to upgrade the signaling infrastructure along the Casablanca-Kenitra rail corridor.
From May 12 to May 26, 2024, these large-scale works are expected to cause some temporary disruptions to rail operations. However, the ONCF is committed to minimizing the impact on daily traffic by strategically scheduling the majority of the activities during night-time intervals and implementing appropriate measures to ensure service continuity for its valued passengers.
Recognizing the potential inconveniences, the ONCF has deployed a robust contingency plan to effectively manage passenger mobility during this period of infrastructure enhancement. A dedicated 24/7 monitoring cell will be established at the command post to supervise, manage, and closely monitor rail traffic. Additionally, reinforced assistance will be available at stations and on board trains to provide seamless support to travelers.
Acknowledging the temporary disruptions, the ONCF extends its sincere apologies to its esteemed clientele and urges passengers to stay informed and plan their journeys accordingly. Travelers are encouraged to seek information from ONCF personnel at stations and on trains or through the following channels:
- The merchant website: www.oncf-voyages.ma
- The institutional website: www.oncf.ma
- The ONCF Trafic mobile application
- The official Facebook page: oncfpageofficielle
- The Customer Relations Center (2255)
- Real-time information displays at stations
