Police operation in La Mina: Ten arrested in connection with January 7 shooting and drug trafficking
A major police operation took place early Monday morning in the La Mina neighborhood of Sant Adrià de Besòs (Barcelona), involving 350 officers. The operation aimed to arrest individuals connected to the shooting that occurred on January 7 and to address drug trafficking offenses. So far, ten arrests have been made.
The operation is being led by the Divisió d'Investigació Criminal (DIC), with the participation of the Badalona (Barcelona) investigation unit. Additionally, the operation includes agents from various specialized units, including canine units, drones, public security, aerial units, and forensic police. More than ten locations have been raided, and several weapons have been seized.
