Qatar Airways has announced an increase in its flight frequency to Casablanca as part of its expanded winter schedule for 2025. The airline will raise its service from four to five weekly flights, aiming to meet growing passenger demand and strengthen connectivity through its Doha hub, Hamad International Airport.

Strengthening Morocco’s global links

Casablanca, Morocco's economic capital, is among several global destinations benefiting from increased services this winter. The initiative reflects Qatar Airways' strategy to enhance its presence in the Moroccan market, facilitating travel between Africa, the Middle East, and the rest of the world.

The airline views Casablanca as a key gateway to Morocco’s rich cultural heritage and modern economic opportunities. The added flight frequency will provide more options for passengers traveling to and from the city while enhancing connections to destinations worldwide via Doha.

Expanded global network

Qatar Airways, named the World’s Best Airline by Skytrax in 2025 for a record ninth time, is increasing service to over 15 major destinations for the winter 2025-2026 season. Key routes include:

London Heathrow: Up to 10 daily flights (a record for the airline).

Dublin: 17 weekly flights.

Cape Town: 12 weekly flights.

São Paulo: 18 weekly flights.
Other expanded routes include Abu Dhabi, Berlin, Frankfurt, Johannesburg, Madrid, the Maldives, Manchester, Phuket, Sharjah, Tokyo Narita, and Toronto.

Advanced technology and fleet innovation

Qatar Airways continues to lead in in-flight technology, with 54 Boeing 777s equipped with ultra-high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi. This free service offers passengers median download speeds of 120.6 Mbps, setting the airline apart as the first in the world to operate over 50 Starlink-equipped widebody aircraft.

The milestone achievement was highlighted in October 2024, when Qatar Airways operated its first Starlink-equipped Boeing 777 flight from Doha to London.

Future-ready aviation

Operating out of Hamad International Airport, ranked the "Best Airport in the Middle East" for 11 consecutive years, Qatar Airways connects passengers to over 170 destinations worldwide. The airline’s consistent expansion reflects its ability to anticipate market trends and cater to the evolving demands of both leisure and business travelers.
