Renault’s new CEO reshuffles executive leadership to drive growth
Renault’s new CEO, François Provost, has initiated a major reshuffle of the company’s executive leadership, effective Monday, September 1, aiming to accelerate growth and improve commercial efficiency across the brand portfolio. A new role of Chief Growth Officer has been created to drive strategic expansion.
Fabrice Cambolive, head of the Renault brand, will become the “super boss” of both Renault and Dacia, overseeing a unified strategy, international development, and customer experience, with a particular focus on India, Latin America, and South Korea. Cambolive will also manage digital, marketing, distribution networks, and after-sales operations.
Katrin Adt, a former Mercedes-Benz and Smart executive, has been appointed CEO of Dacia, reporting to Cambolive. This change follows the departure of Denis Le Vot, former Dacia head and unsuccessful candidate to replace Luca de Meo.
In engineering, Renault now has a unified leadership for both Renault and Ampère, the electric and software division. Philippe Brunet, previously head of Ampère engineering, becomes Chief Technology Officer, credited with the rapid development of the new electric Twingo in China.
Finally, Claire Fanget takes over the group’s human resources, previously limited to Renault, tasked with transforming the workforce to meet evolving industry needs.
