Severe floods devastate central Vietnam, exposing climate risks
Heavy rainfall has led to unprecedented flooding across central Vietnam, resulting in at least 41 deaths and widespread destruction of homes, infrastructure, and farmland. Entire city blocks in key coastal areas, including Nha Trang and Quy Nhon, have been submerged, forcing residents to take refuge on rooftops while rescue teams conduct urgent evacuation efforts.
