The Regional Multiservice Company (SRM) Casablanca-Settat has strengthened its presence in rural Morocco with the opening of a new customer service agency in Oulad Ali Toualaa, located in the province of Benslimane. The inauguration, attended by senior company officials and local representatives, marks another step in SRM’s strategy to expand access to public services across underserved areas.

According to provincial director El Mustapha Charnoubi, the new agency is designed to bring essential public services closer to residents who often face long travel distances. He emphasized that the facility offers a modern reception space, standardized equipment and trained staff to ensure a smoother and more efficient customer experience.

Nearly 12,000 people from several surrounding localities — including Oulad Moumen, Mellila, Ahlaf, Oulad Yahia Louta, Oulad Sidi Ahmed and Lakhsasma — are expected to benefit from easier access to services such as bill payments, subscription requests, account management and other essential procedures.

This opening builds on SRM’s rural strategy launched earlier this year, which includes a network of ten mobile agencies circulating weekly through remote douars, rural roads and weekly markets. One of these mobile units already serves around 8,000 residents in isolated villages in the Benslimane province.

SRM Casablanca-Settat plans to accelerate its expansion in 2026 with ten additional fixed agencies and ten more mobile units across the region. The company aims to reach nearly 200 service points by the end of 2026, reinforcing a public service model that is inclusive, accessible and adapted to both rural and urban communities.
