Stabbing Incident Involving Lamine Yamal's Father Sparks Concerns
Mounir Nasraoui, father of Barcelona and Spain football sensation Lamine Yamal, has reportedly been discharged from the hospital following a stabbing incident on Wednesday night.
The attack occurred in a parking lot in Mataró, a town in northeastern Spain. Nasraoui, a Moroccan national, was initially hospitalized at Can Ruti in Badalona with serious injuries.
Subsequent reports confirmed that Nasraoui has returned home. A leaked video, as reported by La Razón, allegedly shows him in a dispute with neighbors before the stabbing.
Lamine Yamal, known for his social media presence, has not made any public statements regarding the incident.
The news comes shortly after Lamine's historic achievement as the youngest player to both play and score in Euro 2024, where Spain clinched the title.
