Streamlined security checks enhance passenger experience at Mohammed V Airport
In a move aimed at enhancing the passenger experience, security inspection devices such as scanners and gates at the entrances of Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca have been relocated. This adjustment eliminates long queues and ensures smoother movement, providing travelers with a more comfortable journey from the moment they arrive.
Passengers using Mohammed V Airport can now access all entry points more efficiently. This improvement was made possible through the efforts of various airport security authorities, including the Ministry of the Interior, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), and the Royal Gendarmerie. Their collaboration has allowed for a reorganization of the security system, maintaining strict safety standards while prioritizing convenience.
This initiative is part of the broader "Airports 2030" strategy, which focuses on modernizing and optimizing passenger experiences. Key objectives of this strategy include streamlining security checks, enhancing facility comfort, and integrating technological innovations.
The new system will gradually roll out to other airports across Morocco, starting with Marrakech Airport in the coming days. Additional measures are also planned to further improve the traveler experience, reinforcing Moroccan airports as benchmarks for efficiency and quality of service.
Through these advancements, the National Airports Authority (ONDA) reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the efficiency and appeal of its airport platforms while ensuring high levels of security and service for passengers.
