Strong Morocco–Spain coordination marks launch of Marhaba 2025
The launch of Marhaba 2025 has been highlighted by a strong collaborative effort between Morocco and Spain. Spanish Director General of Civil Protection, Virginia Barcones, praised what she described as “exemplary coordination” between the two countries during the operation.
Barcones emphasized the high level of cooperation among the relevant institutions on both sides, noting that the early days of the operation have proceeded smoothly and as planned. She expressed satisfaction with the efficiency and organization of the initiative.
The Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity officially launched the Marhaba 2025 operation on Tuesday, June 10, aimed at welcoming Moroccans living abroad. The Foundation has activated a comprehensive reception system in coordination with all national stakeholders, with operations underway simultaneously in Morocco, France, Spain, and Italy.
