Tottenham Hotspur announced on Sunday that interim manager Igor Tudor has left the club by mutual agreement. The North London team currently sits just one point above the Premier League relegation zone.

Tudor had been appointed as temporary manager following the February dismissal of Thomas Frank. During his brief tenure, the Croatian coach oversaw seven matches, suffering five defeats, including elimination from the Champions League Round of 16 by Atletico Madrid. Spurs now occupy 17th place in the league with 30 points from 31 games.

In a club statement, Tottenham expressed their condolences to Tudor, acknowledging the recent loss of his father, Mario, and offering support to him and his family during this difficult period.

“We can confirm that it has been mutually agreed for Head Coach Igor Tudor to leave the club with immediate effect,” the statement read.
