Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone conversation with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, focusing on recent political and security developments in Syria as well as ongoing efforts related to the Gaza peace process, according to Turkish diplomatic sources.

During the exchange, both officials reviewed progress in implementing the Gaza peace plan and assessed broader regional dynamics. The discussions took place amid intensified diplomatic activity aimed at stabilizing conflict zones and advancing reconstruction initiatives following recent ceasefire arrangements.

The talks also touched on wider regional challenges, reflecting the shared interest of Ankara and Riyadh in promoting dialogue and coordination on Middle Eastern affairs. Turkey and Saudi Arabia have increased consultations in recent months as part of efforts to contribute to regional stability.

The phone call followed a series of high-level diplomatic contacts involving regional leaders, underlining the renewed momentum in international engagement on Syria and Gaza, particularly in the context of US-backed ceasefire and reconstruction frameworks.
