Air Arabia Launches Strategic Rabat-Nador Route, Enhancing Domestic Connectivity

Air Arabia has inaugurated a new direct flight route connecting Rabat to Nador, marking a significant expansion of its Moroccan network. The new service, which commenced operations on January 12, was officially announced during a ceremony at Nador Al-Aroui International Airport, with key officials in attendance including Khatib El Hebil, Wali of the Oriental region, and Laila Mechbal, General Manager of Air Arabia Maroc.

Operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays, the route utilizes Airbus A320 aircraft. The schedule has been strategically designed to accommodate both business and leisure travelers, with departures from Nador at 11:00 AM local time, arriving in Rabat at noon. Return flights depart Rabat at 4:15 PM, reaching Nador at 5:20 PM.

The airline has introduced competitive pricing, with fares beginning at MAD 350 (approximately $35). Passengers can secure their bookings through multiple channels, including the airline's website, mobile application, and authorized travel agencies.

This development follows closely on the heels of Air Arabia's recently launched Rabat-Oujda route, which operates three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. These new routes represent part of Air Arabia Maroc's broader strategy to enhance domestic connectivity and support regional economic development.

The carrier's network expansion from Rabat-Sale Airport now encompasses both domestic and international destinations, including Agadir within Morocco, and European cities such as Paris, Barcelona, Istanbul, Brussels, and Basel. This comprehensive network reflects Air Arabia's commitment to providing affordable and reliable air travel options while contributing to Morocco's tourism and economic growth objectives.
