Air Arabia Maroc Launches New Cultural Bridge: Tetouan-Bilbao Flight Route
Air Arabia Maroc is set to unveil a new flight route that aims to strengthen cultural and economic ties between Morocco and Spain. Starting on May 18, the airline will begin weekly flights connecting the historic city of Tetouan in northern Morocco with the vibrant Spanish city of Bilbao. These flights will operate every Saturday until October 26.
In a recent press release, Air Arabia Maroc expressed enthusiasm for the new route, highlighting Tetouan's rich heritage. The city’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed historic center combines Andalusian and Moroccan influences, evident in its architecture, cuisine, and arts. The airline's flights will depart from Tetouan at 6 a.m., allowing travelers to explore the city from the early morning.
On the Spanish side, Bilbao offers a mix of modernity and tradition, with the iconic Guggenheim Museum serving as a cultural landmark. The flights from Bilbao are scheduled for 9:30 a.m., providing visitors with ample time to discover the city's attractions before returning to Tetouan at 10:10 a.m.
