Casablanca Marathon: A 15th Anniversary Spectacle Blending Sport and Culture

The vibrant city of Casablanca is gearing up for a milestone celebration as it prepares to host the 15th edition of its International Marathon on October 27. This eagerly anticipated event promises to be more than just a race; it's a cultural extravaganza that showcases the best of Morocco's economic capital.

Participants will have the opportunity to choose from three distinct challenges: a full marathon spanning 42.195 kilometers, a half marathon covering 21.0975 kilometers, or a spirited 10-kilometer run. Each route has been carefully designed to guide runners through Casablanca's most iconic landmarks, including the awe-inspiring Hassan II Mosque overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

The marathon's charm lies in its ability to merge athletic endeavor with cultural immersion. As participants pound the pavement, they'll experience a unique blend of historic sites and modern urban landscapes, creating lasting memories with every stride. Local registrations will also be accepted at various points throughout Casablanca from October 9 to 26.

Runners are advised to collect their race bibs at the Marathon Village, situated at Place Rachidi. The village will be operational from October 18 to 26, welcoming participants daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
