Morocco selected as headquarters for the African Clubs Association
The African Clubs Association (ACA) recently announced that Morocco has been chosen as its new headquarters, following a competitive selection process that included bids from Algeria and other nations. Morocco’s proposal stood out due to its exceptional organizational standards and advanced infrastructure, which made it the preferred choice for the ACA.
The decision was made after a thorough review of all bids. Morocco’s bid was particularly appealing because of its modern facilities and commitment to enhancing the sport across Africa.
An official memorandum of understanding will be signed on January 27, during the African Cup of Nations draw ceremony, an event that will be hosted by Morocco.
This significant development marks a key milestone in African football. The establishment of the ACA’s headquarters in Morocco is expected to strengthen collaboration between clubs across the continent, while also improving football governance and infrastructure throughout Africa.
