New appointments to constitutional institutions by King Mohammed VI
On March 24, 2025, His Majesty King Mohammed VI appointed new leaders to key constitutional institutions in Morocco. The following individuals have been appointed to important positions:
- Mr. Abdelkader Amara, President of the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council.
- Mr. Mohamed Benalilou, President of the National Authority for Integrity, Prevention, and the Fight against Corruption.
- Mr. Hassan Tariq, appointed as the Mediator of the Kingdom.
These appointments reflect His Majesty’s commitment to strengthening the roles of these institutions as outlined in Morocco’s Constitution. The aim is to enhance the principles of good governance, participatory democracy, and the protection of rights and freedoms. They also demonstrate His Majesty’s dedication to improving these independent constitutional bodies, ensuring they play an active role in the country’s ongoing reforms and national projects.
