Akdital launches major expansion plan in Saudi Arabia
Morocco’s leading private healthcare group, Akdital, has unveiled a major step in its international development strategy through the signing of strategic partnerships in Saudi Arabia. The initiative marks a decisive acceleration in the group’s regional expansion amid growing demand for modern hospital infrastructure across the Gulf.
According to Akdital, the agreements aim to create and operate a network of multidisciplinary hospitals in collaboration with prominent Saudi partners. By 2030, investments are expected to reach 5.3 billion Saudi riyals (approximately 1.4 billion USD).
The financing plan will be structured as follows:
- 25% for real estate investments provided by Saudi partners,
- 60% for operating expenses,
- 15% for medical equipment and facility upgrades, co-financed by Akdital and its financial allies.
A regional headquarters in Riyadh will oversee project coordination and manage future operations throughout the Middle East.
This expansion underscores Akdital’s ambition to export the Moroccan hospital excellence model, emphasizing certified healthcare standards, clinical performance, and accessibility for patients.
